Container Security Initiative begins in the Dominican Republic, Spain, the Bahamas and Jamaica

US Customs and Border Protection announced on 29 September that the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, the Bahamas and Spain will implement the Container Security Initiative (CSI) in those countries. There are now 50 sea ports at which CSI is operational.
