Request for Tariff Relief on Certain Plastic Digitrays

The Department of Finance is seeking members’ views on a request that the Department has received for tariff relief on certain plastic digitrays for use in the manufacture of digipaks. We are proposing to amend tariff item No. 3926.90.10 to include the following:

3926.90.10 - - - Digitrays for use in Canadian manufactures.

This product is currently classified under tariff item No. 3926.90.90 and is dutiable at 6.5% under the Most-Favoured-Nation (MFN) tariff.
