Correction to Message from CBSA re: Thursday's Outage

This message is from the Electronic Commerce Unit at the CBSA.

The following is a message to all Electronic Commerce clients from the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA):

The problem that resulted in Thursday's outage of the CADEX and CUSDEC B3 systems has been resolved.

All EDI systems are now functioning normally.

B3 transactions which were due yesterday (Thursday, December 21st 2006) but due to the outage could not be transmitted and accepted by end of day yesterday, should be transmitted and accepted today (Friday, December 22nd 2006). If those transactions are accepted no later than today, clients will not need to apply for a formal waiver of any late accounting penalties.
