Normal train operations continue at CP

Effective May 24th and forward, CP will post customer bulletins direct to the web. The daily bulletin can be found at:

CP’s train service is fully operational and continues normally despite a strike by the Canadian unionized maintenance of way employees.   Our strike plan has deployed replacement management employees who are maintaining the network at safe operating standards under the direction of the qualified track inspectors.

Picketing activities continue to be present at various locations across the country.   CP is in court for injunction proceedings at Calgary Intermodal Facility and Vancouver Intermodal Facility today.   The Obico injunction hearing is scheduled to continue on Friday.   All terminals and Third Party facilities are open for normal operating hours. Varying delays to trucks may occur as they pass through the picket lines.   Edmonton, Regina, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Vaughan and Lachine terminals are open with minimal delays.
