And the winners are ...

CCS and CTCS Designates were offered the opportunity to win one of two trips to the 2019 CSCB National Annual Conference in Whistler, B.C. We are pleased to announce that almost 650 designates chose to participate. The lucky winners are Beverly Walsh and Marci Kobe.

Beverly and Marci will each receive complimentary conference registration, a 3-night stay at The Westin Resort & Spa, and transportation to and from Whistler, B.C.

Beverly Walsh, CCS
After graduating from Sir Sandford Fleming College and a short stint in the brokerage industry, Beverly obtained her CCS Designation in 2003 while working at Dominion Customs Consultants.

Her 25-year tenure at Dominion began with a Customs Analyst position before working her way up to a Consultant and in the last 10 years a Senior Consultant role.

On the personal side of things, Beverly is a mother of two busy teenagers, an avid runner and yoga enthusiast, which brings balance to her busy life.

Marci Kobe, CCS, CTCS
Maci Kobe has extensive experience in customs brokerage and trade compliance. She obtained her CCS designation in 2004 and her CTCS designation in 2012. In 2018, Marci made the leap of opening her own brokerage, Clearsmith International Inc., servicing small and medium size companies.

Throughout her career, Marci has been involved in CITT decisions and duty recovery worth thousands of dollars! She has been a featured speaker at oil and gas symposiums, company “Lunch and Learn” programs and workshops. She is a self-defined trade geek.

In her private life, Marci is a soccer mom who does her best to inspire the next generation of leaders.

We would like to thank all designates who entered the contest!
