Winners of the 2018 CSCB Scholarships!

The CSCB Scholarship Committee is pleased to announce the winners of the CSCB Guy Graveline and CSCB National Scholarship recipients for 2018.

Ms. Kharyl Leonardo, daughter of Bernadeth Leonardo of Livingston International, Mississauga, Ontario has been awarded the Guy Graveline Scholarship.

Kharyl has been accepted to McMaster University where she plans to pursue her undergrad degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, and Behaviour (PNB).  This degree will allow her to explore several career options within the mental heath field.

Kharyl is an honour roll student who has been appointed as an Ontario Scholar.  As well, Kharyl has maintained strong participation in extracurricular school activities, while volunteering throughout her community. 

Ms. Hanna McCoy of UPS Canada, Fredericton, New Brunswick has been awarded the CSCB National Scholarship. 

In addition to her impressive academic record, Hanna has displayed exceptional volunteerism and community leadership through her work with the schools student council and the Mayor’s Youth Action Team in the City of Fredericton.  Hannah will be attending the University of New Brunswick where she will pursue a degree in Science.     

Congratulations to Kharyl and Hanna! The CSCB is proud to have been able to play a part in your ongoing education.

The committee would also like to extend its congratulations to all applicants. From coast to coast, the applicants were all exceptional young adults and it has been our privilege to review their applications. 

The 2018 CSCB Scholarship Committee included Peter Shaw (Chair), UPS; Annette Rowan, Pacific Customs Brokers; Claire Howarth, Secam International; George Mougtoussidis, Keuhne & Nagel, and Shelley Gares, CSCB.
