On March 15, a Federal Register Notice was published announcing that US CBP has delivered Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) functionality that enables truck carriers to use a third party to submit manifest information on their behalf via the ACE Secure Data Portal. Third parties providing this service must be brokers, carriers, and importers who have an ACE portal account.
