IID (Integrated Import Declaration) Readiness

February 23, 2017

The CBSA has announced plans to eliminate two release options by spring 2018.

These service options are 463, OGD Pre-arrival Release System (OGD PARS) and 471, OGD Release on Minimum Declaration (OGD RMD). At that time, use of the Integrated Import Declaration (IID) will become mandatory.

In order to determine members’ readiness and represent your interests to CBSA, we ask that one representative of each member firm completes a short 3-question survey that can be accessed at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/LB9MY9Y. Survey results will be kept confidential.

Members may direct their questions to [email protected].
