2019 CCS Examination Results

Congratulations to the students who successfully completed the CCS (Certified Customs Specialist) course in 2019 and are now entitled to use the CCS designation.

The passing grade for the CCS course is 65%, based on the results of the final examination and the results of four tests taken throughout the year.

The average grade in the 2018-19 CCS course was 71%, and the mark that occurred the most was 76%. The highest grade was 96%, with 3 students achieving this mark.

The following students received the highest marks – well done!

The following students shared the highest mark of 96%:
Mr. Alwis Alfred Wencencilas, of DHL Express (Canada) Ltd.;
Mr. Georges Thabet, of Federal Express Canada (FedEx); and
Ms. Cynthia Man-Yin Li, of Anatolia Tile & Stone.

The following students shared the second highest mark of 95%:
Mrs. Sai Priya Pankantiwar of Thompson, Ahern & Co. Ltd.,
Ms. Lorena Zevallos, of FedEx Trade Networks (FTN), Transport and Brokerage (Canada), Inc.;
Mr. Goran Jeftic, of Livingston International;
Ms. Wei Miao, of Logistics and Customs Services Inc.; and 
Mr. James Simmons, of Royal Building Products.

The following students shared the third highest mark of 94%:
Mrs. Sameera Amer, of Federal Express Canada (FedEx);
Ms. Janice Chau, of Group Atallah Inc dba SSENSE;
Mrs. Terri Eliassen, of J.D. Irving, Limited;
Ms. Ji Young Lee, of Sparx Logistics Canada; and
Miss Li Zhu, of Valueway Global Logistics Inc.
