Typically the delegates say good-bye and head into the conference room while companions are whisked away to a fun-filled day, but given that our keynote speaker is Clara Hughes; six-time Olympic medalist, we thought companions would also enjoy hearing Clara speak on the power of movement and finding your voice to be the champion you were meant to be.
After Clara inspires us, companions will head off to the Nordik Spa-Nature. Nestled in the picturesque village of Old Chelsea in the Outaouais region on the outskirts of Gatineau Park, Nordik Spa-Nature is the largest spa in North America. This relaxation and wellness centre focuses on thermotherapy and relaxation techniques, offering a multisensory experience in a natural setting in Chelsea, Quebec for a relaxing and refreshing Thermal Experience. Pack your swimsuit and sandals –you wont need anything else, robes, towels and lockers are included!
Once your Thermal Experience is complete, lunch at your leisure in the Spa that features Executive Chef David Arseneau and his team, who brings local flavours and creativity to the table in Chelsea. A day of relaxation and refreshment in some of the most beautiful scenery in the area. As for spa services, we can’t guarantee availability – that is up to you - so if you are interested, book quickly! This is an additional service you can arrange at your own expense. The spa day will end with a bus ride back to the hotel, arriving in plenty of time to dress in your favourite decade for the evening event.
