August 7: COVID-19 CBSA Commercial & Trade Update

Key Issue

  • Electronic Longroom Update: The CBSA Directory now indicates the offices that provide email service for certain paper cargo, release requests and corrections.
  • The Directory will be updated weekly to indicate new offices that provide the service. In addition, information is being drafted about the service for external clients and will be available in the near future.
  • As such the document on commercial matters (Annex A) has been updated accordingly.

  • Mise à jour de la salle des comptoirs électroniques : Les bureaux qui offrent un service par courriel afin de traiter certaines demandes ou corrections de mainlevée sont désormais disponibles sur Le répertoire de l’ASFC.
  • Le répertoire sera mis à jour chaque semaine afin d’indiquer les nouveaux bureaux offrant ce service. De plus, des renseignement concernant les services offerts aux clients externes sont en cours de rédaction et seront disponibles dès que possible.
  • Conséquemment, le document sur les questions commerciales (annexe A) a été mis à jour.
