Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird today issued the following statement as he concluded his bilateral visit to Peru:
“I had a productive meeting with President Ollanta Humala and Foreign Affairs Minister Rafael Roncagliolo. As Canada seeks to increase our engagement with Peru, I took this opportunity to talk about how our two countries can increase bilateral trade and investment, and collaboration in the areas of education, defence and sustainable development in the region.
