As many of you may be aware through social media and the Border Alert Service, the CBSA is presently experiencing border service disruptions at several points of entry in Southern Ontario (Queenston-Lewiston Bridge, Fort Erie Peace Bridge, Niagara Falls Rainbow Bridge and Whirlpool). BCCC Members are advised to remain vigilant of the alternative routes available to land mode carriers to ensure that the goods and carriers are not significantly delayed. CBSA Commercial Systems and processes continue to function normally in all modes. CBSA is highly cognizant of the challenges that border disruptions present to trade chain participants in any mode, and we are working with government partners to minimize the border impacts.
Until further notice, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) encourages you to consider the following alternate ports of entry to cross the border:
- regular travellers: Lansdowne
- commercial traffic: Lansdowne
If you have already submitted your EDI to one of the impacted POEs, you are not required change your EDI transmission or to submit another one if you are deferring to Lansdowne.

Comme beaucoup d'entre vous le savent peut-être grâce aux médias sociaux et au Service d'alerte à la frontière, l'ASFC subit actuellement des perturbations des services frontaliers à plusieurs points d'entrée dans le sud de l’Ontario (Pont Queenston-Lewiston, Pont de la Paix à Fort Érié, Pont Arc-en-ciel à Niagara Falls et le Pont Whirlpool). Les membres du CCACF sont invités à rester vigilants sur les itinéraires alternatifs disponibles pour les transporteurs terrestres afin de s'assurer que les marchandises et les transporteurs ne subissent pas de retard important. Les systèmes et processus commerciaux de l'ASFC continuent de fonctionner normalement dans tous les modes. L'ASFC est très consciente des défis que présentent les perturbations à la frontière pour les participants à la chaîne commerciale, quel que soit le mode, et nous travaillons avec des partenaires gouvernementaux pour minimiser les répercussions à la frontière.
Jusqu’à nouvel ordre, l’Agence des services frontaliers du Canada (ASFC) vous encourage à considérer les points d’entrée suivants :

Si vous avez déjà soumis votre déclaration à l’avance à un PdE impacté, vous n’êtes pas tenu de changer votre soumission EDI ou de soumettre de nouveau si vous différez à Lansdowne.
