The following is a 17 September 2012 news release by CBSA.
The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and the Greater Toronto Airports Authority would like to inform you of renovations starting today at the Terminal 3 Customs Hall. The renovations are scheduled for completion at the end of November 2012, and may result in delays for passengers arriving on international and transborder flights. In an effort to facilitate the arrival of passengers, the CBSA has introduced Canadian Resident Queues. Returning Canadian citizens and permanent residents can use these queues to expedite their entry to Canada.
The CBSA thanks you for your patience and cooperation during this period.
