As part of its commitment to border modernization, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) is pleased to announce that following an open, transparent and competitive procurement process, contracts have been awarded to Pomerleau Inc. for construction management services and Provencher Roy + Associés Architectes Inc. for architecture and engineering services for the work to be completed at the St-Bernard-de-Lacolle port of entry.
St-Bernard-de-Lacolle is a full service port of entry located in the Montérégie Border District of Quebec and is a key crossing between Canada and the United States. The modernization of this port of entry will improve the border crossing experience for travellers and provide border services officers with upgraded infrastructure and technology.
On behalf of the CBSA, Public Services and Procurement Canada led the competitive procurement process and will manage the project.
As an important part of the project, the CBSA is engaging with Indigenous communities and working closely with various orders of government, industry stakeholders, as well as U.S. counterparts.
The St-Bernard-de-Lacolle redevelopment is part of the agency’s Land Border Crossing Project, a plan to renew and upgrade a number of Canadian land ports of entry across the country.

Dans le cadre de son engagement à moderniser la frontière, l'Agence des services frontaliers du Canada (ASFC) a le plaisir d'annoncer que, à la suite d'un processus d'approvisionnement ouvert, transparent et concurrentiel, des contrats ont été attribués à Pomerleau inc. pour des services de gestion de la construction et à Provencher Roy + Associés Architectes inc. pour des services d'architecture et d'ingénierie à effectuer au point d'entrée de St-Bernard-de-Lacolle.
St-Bernard-de-Lacolle est un point d'entrée à services complets situé dans le district de la Montérégie, au Québec, et constitue un important passage frontalier entre le Canada et les États-Unis. La modernisation de ce point d'entrée améliorera l'expérience des voyageurs à ce passage et fournira aux agents des services frontaliers une infrastructure améliorée et une technologie de pointe.
Au nom de l'ASFC, Services publics et Approvisionnement Canada a mené le processus d'approvisionnement concurrentiel et gérera le projet.
Dans le cadre de ce projet, l'Agence travaille avec les communautés autochtones et collabore étroitement avec les différents ordres de gouvernement, les intervenants de l'industrie et ses homologues américains.
Le réaménagement de Saint-Bernard-de-Lacolle fait partie du Projet des postes frontaliers terrestres de l'Agence, un plan visant à renouveler et à moderniser nombre de points d'entrée terrestres canadiens dans l'ensemble du pays.
