The following is a CBSA Message (ACI13-034).
The following message is to provide clarification on the reject message W34, “Request already in arrived status”. Carriers will see this message when a conveyance report was submitted prior to June 9 and under the former functionality, the estimated time of arrival (ETA) is still “arriving” the conveyance. If a Conveyance Arrival Certification message is submitted June 9 (or after) to arrive this conveyance, it will be deemed already in arrived status and will generate the above rejection message.
Once all of the Conveyance messages submitted prior to June 9 have officially arrived, the incidence of this reject will drop off dramatically and the new Conveyance Arrival Certification Message functionality will take over.
