CBSA Message: Easter Weekend

The following message is from CBSA (EDI13-024).

The Electronic Commerce Unit will be closed for the Easter holiday from Thursday, March 28, 2013 at 17:00 (Eastern Time) until Monday, April 1, 2013 at 08:00 (ET). On Monday, April 1, between 08:00 and 16:00 (ET), officers will be available at 1-888-957-7224 to deal with production issues only.

CADEX reports will run on the evenings of Thursday, March 28 and Tuesday, April 2. Entries processed on Thursday, March 28, will appear on the K84 notice, ready for pickup on Friday morning. Entries processed from Friday, March 29 to Tuesday, April 2 (inclusive) will appear on the daily K84 notice dated Wednesday, April 3, 2013. The rates of exchange appearing on the report generated on the morning of Friday, March 29 will remain in effect from Friday, March 29, until Tuesday, April 2 inclusive.

Since Friday, March 29 and Monday, April 1 are government holidays, these dates will not be counted in the calculation of overdue entries.
