CBSA Message: Electronic Commerce Client Requirements Document (ECCRD)

The following is a message to all CBSA Electronic Data Interchange clients (Message EDI13-053).

Electronic Commerce Client Requirements Document (ECCRD)

As part of the CBSA’s efforts to streamline its Web presence and conform to Government of Canada requirements on web accessibility, the Electronic Commerce Client Requirements Document (ECCRD) will be removed from the CBSA Internet site as of August 1, 2013. In order to ensure continued availability, you will still be able to request copies of the chapters you require, either by telephone or by email, through the Electronic Commerce Unit or Technical Support Unit (please note their contact information is below).

We encourage you to download the latest versions of the chapters you use or may require from our ECCRD web page before they are removed from the CBSA Internet site on August 1, 2013.

Note that we also continue to consider longer term options to ensure this information is readily available.

Should you have any questions, please contact the Electronic Commerce Unit or Technical Support Unit at the telephone numbers below.

Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
