Please be advised that the CADEX formatted records for the classification file and tariff code file updates and expiries, due to the Canada-Honduras Free Trade Agreement, are now available on the CBSA website at http://cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/trade-commerce/tariff-tarif/2014/menu-eng.html.
Further to Customs Notice CN14-021 pertaining to the implementation of the Canada-Hondouras Free Trade Agreement (http://www.cbsa.gc.ca/publications/cn-ad/cn14-021-eng.html), please be advised that the classification and tariff code files will be available the week of October 1, 2014.
Given that this will be a large update, the classification and tariff code flags have been turned off until this update has been done. Please note there is a new Tariff Treatment being added to most classification numbers, and as such, the update will be larger than the year end files. Due to the size of the files, they will not be downloaded into your system. You will be able to access the files in CADEX format when they become available on the CBSA website at http://cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/trade-commerce/tariff-tarif/2014/menu-eng.html.
An UPDATE to this Bulletin will be sent once the Cadex format files have been posted.
