CBSA Message (TCC18-004) - Payment of ARL Statements of Account of certain months of 2018

Clients Affected: Importers and brokers

Payments for the Statement of Account (SOA) must be submitted electronically or be received at the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) National Payment Processing Center by 16:00 Eastern Time on the last business day of the month.

The CBSA recognizes that certain months of the year have fewer days for clients to arrange for payment, therefore should the payments for SOAs for the affected months noted in the table below be received by the CBSA on the deferred dates specified, the CBSA will not charge interest or issue penalties for late payment.
