CBSA Message (TCC18-154) - Remembrance Day Holiday

Clients Affected: All clients and service providers who transmit trade data using EDI.

The Technical Commercial Client Unit (TCCU) of the Canada Border Services Agency Client service support will be available on the Remembrance Day holiday, Monday, November 12, 2018 between 08:00 and 16:00 (Eastern Time).  Please note that support will be provided for production issues only by calling our hot line at 1-888-957-7224.

For urgent client service outside business hours and statutory holiday, please contact the TCCU hotline at 1-888-957-7224 option 1 and your enquiry will be answered by a TCCU officer.  Also, please refer to the following CBSA website link that offers guidelines for clients using the TCCU’s after-hours/weekend/holiday pager service: http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/eservices/services-eng.html.

For accounting purposes:

B3 Entries processed and accepted between Saturday, November 10, 2018 and Tuesday, November 13, 2018 will appear on the daily notice (DN) sent on Wednesday, November 14, 2018. 

The exchange rates from Saturday, November 10, 2018 to Tuesday, November 13, 2018 (inclusive) will remain unchanged. 

Monday, November 12, 2018 will not be counted in the calculation of overdue B3 entries.
