Clients Affected: All importers and brokers who submit their B3s and AO notification of release queries using the CCS/CADEX system.

Family Day – February 18, 2019 for certain provinces, as listed in the Holiday Table, under the Outages tab, at this site https://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/eservices/menu-eng.html

For the purposes of calculating the accounting period, February 18, 2019 will be considered a holiday for these provinces and any late accounting penalties will be waived without the client having to submit an application. This applies to transactions released from February 11, 2019 to February 18, 2019, and where the client’s office of central accounting is in the affected provinces.
