CBSA Message: TCC19-131 – Maintenance Outage for Document Image Functionality (DIF) Outage and delay in PGA decision processing

Clients Affected: All clients and service providers who transmit trade data using the Integrated Import Declaration (IID) and Document Image Functionality (DIF)

For maintenance purposes, there will be an outage on Sunday, November 17, 2019 from 02:45 to 05:45 (ET). During this outage, the CBSA will be unable to process the DIF. As a result of this outage, the IID transmission related to the DIF may get rejected.

Also, Participating Government Agencies (PGA) may experience delays in processing the Integrated Import Declaration (IID).

During the outage, the CBSA will be able to process all other release service options.

Action Required: For urgent transactions during the outage, please proceed with legacy Service Options OGD PARS (service option 463) / OGD RMD (service option 471) or with paper release request.
