CBSA Message: Y50 Related manifest in reject status...(Amendment)

The following is a CBSA Message (EDI13-040) - Amendment to 2nd paragraph.

This bulletin is intended to offer guidelines and clarification to importers and brokers regarding a release transaction reject notice generated by CBSA border officers in ACROSS.

If you receive a reject message on your release transaction such as “Related manifest in reject status; contact the carrier and re-submit the release once the manifest has been corrected” you should contact the carrier and ask them to make the necessary corrections to their related  cargo control number.

Once you have confirmed that the cargo control number is no longer in reject status, you must submit a change to your release transaction.   By submitting a change request, this will allow the border officer to make a decision on your release transaction.

Please ensure your daytime, evening and weekend team members are aware of this procedure.
