CBSA Montreal Longroom (Port 0395) Delays

The CBSA Montreal Longroom (Port 0395) is currently experiencing delays of 24hr-36hrs in processing re-manifests.  Several factors have contributed to the delays we are encountering, such as increases in volume with Monday's being highest in volume, as well as changes in personnel.

New junior personnel have been added, and are currently in training.  In addition, overtime has been authorized to clear backlog when necessary.  With these measures in place we expect to begin to see some improvement in the near future.

We ask our members to take into consideration the delays being encountered for the importations they are processing for this port of entry, and to plan accordingly.

We will continue to monitor the situation with CBSA, and keep you apprised of developments.
