CBSA Vancouver Port 809 - New Hours of Operation

Port 809, Vancouver, has distributed a notice regarding their hours of operation. Here they are:

Effective April 29 2013 Hours of Operation for the Long Room will be 8:00-16:00

Cash office: 8:00-15:30
-All entries submitted after 15:30 will be processed the next business day.

Manifest Desk: 8:00-15:45
-All entries submitted after 15:45 will be processed the next business day.

The Chief of Air Cargo Operations at Vancouver air has provided additional information regarding operations at that port. The email is reproduced below:

It would be appreciated if you could remind CSCB members that status requests must be faxed and to notate if goods are perishable or time sensitive; then we will do our best to prioritize.

Further, if a shipment is referred at the EOD (end of day), calling our office the next am is not realistic given our hours of operation.

Lastly, it would be appreciated if our office is called when Cargo is arriving onboard a flight arriving at South Ramp; it enhances efficiencies.
