On December 3, 2014, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) pursuant to subsection 38(1) of the Special Import Measures Act (SIMA) made a preliminary determination of dumping with respect to certain oil country tubular goods originating in or exported from Chinese Taipei, India, Indonesia, the Philippines, the Republic of Korea, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine and Vietnam, and made a preliminary determination of subsidizing in respect to certain oil country tubular goods originating in or exported from India, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Ukraine and Vietnam.
On the same date the President, pursuant to paragraph 35(2)(a) of the SIMA, terminated the subsidy investigation in respect of the above mentioned goods from the Republic of Korea and Turkey.
