Certain Seamless Casing, Statement of Reasons

Concerning an expiry review determination under paragraph 76.03(7)(a) of the Special Import Measures Act respecting certain seamless casing originating in or exported from China.

Decision
On June 21, 2018, pursuant to paragraph 76.03(7)(a) of the Special Import Measures Act, the Canada Border Services Agency determined that the expiry of the order made by the Canadian International Trade Tribunal on March 11, 2013, in Expiry Review No. RR-2012-002, continuing its finding made on March 10, 2008, in Inquiry No. NQ-2007-001:
- is likely to result in the continuation or resumption of dumping of certain seamless casing originating in or exported from China; and
- is likely to result in the continuation or resumption of subsidizing of certain seamless casing originating in or exported from China.
