CFIA-AIRS Updates, 15 March

A) Chapter 01 was published to change the release recommendation from “Refer to CFIA - Veterinary inspection” to “Refuse entry” for the following HS codes originating from Bolivia.

01.06.13.2062.03 - Llamas
01.06.13.2062.04 - Guanacos
01.06.13.2062.05 - Vicunas
01.06.13.2062.06 - Alpacas

This created a requirement version for the same HS codes with the end use “In transit through Canada” originating from Australia and Chile.

B) Chapter 08 was published to change the release recommendation from "Refer to CFIA - NISC" to "Refuse Entry" for the following HS code originating from Guatemala.

08.10.20.4013 - Raspberry (fresh).

This created a requirement version change for the following HS codes.

08.10.20.4010.01 - Blackberry - cultivated (fresh). (Rubus sp.).
08.10.20.4014 - European dewberries (Fresh) - (Rubus caesius). Rubus caesius.
08.10.20.4015 - European blackberries (Fresh) - (Rubus fructicosus). Rubus fructicosus.
