CFIA-AIRS Updates, 16 July

Chapter 04 was published to:

i) change the release recommendation from “Refer to CFIA-NISC” to “Approved” and modify the import conditions for the following HS code.

04.03.90.3540.04 - Kephir

This created a requirement version change for the following HS codes.

04.01.10.3501.01 – Liquid skimmed milk. 
04.01.20.3503.01 – Liquid partly skimmed milk. 
04.01.20.3503.02 – UHT partly skimmed milk. 
04.01.20.3504.01 – Liquid milk. 
04.01.40.3507.02 – Other liquid cream. 
04.01.50.3508.02 – Other liquid cream. 
04.02.21.3520.03 – Cream powder. 
04.03.90.3540.01 – Buttermilk. 
04.03.90.3540.03 – Curdled milk or cream. 
04.04.10.3543.01 – Evaporated whey. 
04.04.10.3543.06 – Whey as a packing material for cheese. 
04.04.10.3543.99 – Other modified whey (including modified whey powder). 
04.04.90.3548 – Other blended dairy powders.

ii) add the end use “Samples” to the following HS codes.

04.03.10.3537 – Yogurt
04.03.10.3538 – Kashk
