CFIA-AIRS Updates, 17 June

A) Chapter 30 was published to:

i) remove the end uses “Industrial use (i.e. is not commercial use)”  and  “Travellers & Personal use and not for resale or distribution” for the following HS code.

30.02.12.1095.16 - Blood derivatives highly processed for pharmaceutical use - bovine origin.

This created a requirement version change for the following HS codes.

30.01.90.1676.11 - Chondroitin sulphate - bovine origin. 
30.01.90.1676.12 - Calcium phosphate. 
30.01.90.1676.16 - Heparin sodium from bovine origin.

ii) remove a registration type and modify the import conditions for the following HS code with the end uses “Human consumption”, “Manufacturing”, “Other end uses”, “Pet food manufacturing”, “Samples for testing” and “Scientific use (research)”.

B) Chapter 35 was published to:

i) remove the end uses “Industrial use (i.e. is not commercial use)”  and  “Travellers & Personal use and not for resale or distribution” for the following HS code.

35.02.90.1862 - Bovine albumin.

ii) remove a registration type and modify the import conditions for the following HS code with the end uses “Human consumption”, “Manufacturing”, “Other end uses”, “Pet food manufacturing”, “Samples for testing” and “Scientific use (research)”.

35.02.90.1862 - Bovine albumin.
