CFIA-AIRS Updates, 23 August

A) Chapter 05 was published to change the release recommendation to “Refuse Entry” for the following HS code originating from Australia.

05.11.91.4007.02  Salmo salar - TSN 161996 - Atlantic salmon (germplasm)

B) Chapter 15 was published to add the end use “Travellers & Personal use and not for resale or distribution” to the following HS code originating from the United States.

15.02.10.5397 - Beef tallow, edible.

This created a requirement version change for the following HS codes.

15.01.10.5391 - Pig lard. 
15.01.90.5393 - Emu fat (raw). 
15.01.90.5394 - Ostrich fat (raw). 
15.01.90.5395 - Poultry fat - edible (raw). 
15.01.90.5399 - Other fat. 
15.06.00.5405 - Horse fat.
