CFIA-AIRS Updates August 15th, 2022

A) Chapter 08 was published to change the release recommendation from “Refuse entry” to “Approved” for the following HS codes with the end uses “Human Consumption”, “Other end uses”, “Samples for testing” and “Show or exhibition” originating from Guatemala.

08.10.20.4013.01 - Raspberries (fresh).(Rubus sp. other than R. caesius, R. fructicosus, R. × loganobaccus, R. ursinus × R. idaeus). 
08.10.20.4013.02 - Raspberries (fresh) - Organic - (Rubus sp. other than R. caesius, R. fructicosus, R. × loganobaccus, R. ursinus × R. idaeus). 

B) Chapter 97 was published to add the following OGD extensions.

97.03.90.0005 - Wooden components, without bark, and made of entirely processed materials (material subjected to conditions of heat, glue, pressure or any combination thereof)
97.03.90.0006 - Wooden components of tropical wood, without bark, and exceeding 1.5 cm in thickness
