A) Chapter 03

Chapter 03 was published to add the end use “Further processing for human consumption” and the miscellaneous code “Eviscerated (head on or head off)” to the following HS code originating from all countries except the United States.

03.03.51.1704.06 – Clupea pallasii – TSN 551209 – Pacific herring (frozen).

B) Chapter 06

Chapter 06 was published to add the miscellaneous code “With growing media that is free of soil and related matter (CGMP)” to the following HS codes with the end use “Propagation (growing or sowing)” originating from the Netherlands.

06.02.90.0023.51 – Tree fern – rooted plants (Cyatheaceae and Dicksoniaceae).
06.02.90.0024.51 – Brake, fern – rooted plants (Pteris spp.).
06.02.90.0027.17 – Cypress – rooted plants (Cupressus spp.).
06.02.90.0030.09 – Plants with roots (Cannabis sativa).

C) Chapter 41

Chapter 41 was published to change the release recommendation from “Approved” to “Refer to CFIA-NISC” for the following HS codes originating from all countries except the United States.

41.01.20.1913 – Green, raw, equine hides.
41.01.20.1920 – Hard dried, pickled or limed equine hides.
41.01.50.1913 – Green, raw, equine hides.
41.01.50.1920 – Hard dried, pickled or limed equine hides.
41.01.90.1913 – Green, raw equine hides.
41.01.90.1920 – Hard dried, pickled or limed equine hides.
