Chapter 30 was published to:
i) change the release recommendation from “Refer to CFIA-NISC” to “Refuse Entry” for the following HS codes with the end uses “Commercial”, “Industrial Use (i.e. is not commercial use)”, “Manufacturing”, “Other End Uses” and “Scientific Use (Research)” originating from Andorra, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ceuta and Melilla, Faroe Islands, Georgia, Gibraltar, Greenland, Guernsey, Holy See (Vatican City State), Isle of Man, Jersey, Republic of Kosovo, Liechtenstein, Republic of Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Russian Federation, Saint Pierre and Miquelon, San Marino, Serbia, Svalbard and Jan Mayan, Türkiye, and Ukraine:
30.02.12.1095.10 – Bulk fetal bovine serum and plasma or derivatives, dried or liquid.
30.02.12.1095.11 – Bulk bovine serum, plasma or derivatives, dried or liquid.
30.02.12.1095.14 – Bulk ruminant serum (other than bovine), plasma or derivatives, dried or liquid.

iii) modify the import conditions for the following HS codes with the end uses “Commercial”, “Industrial Use”, “Manufacturing”, “Other End Uses” and “Scientific Use (Research)” originating from Iceland, Norway, Switzerland, and United Kingdom:
30.02.12.1095.10 – Bulk fetal bovine serum and plasma or derivatives, dried or liquid.
30.02.12.1095.11 – Bulk bovine serum, plasma or derivatives, dried or liquid.
30.02.12.1095.14 – Bulk ruminant serum (other than bovine), plasma or derivatives, dried or liquid.
iv) modify the import conditions for the following HS codes with the end use “Other End Uses” originating from Iceland, Norway, Switzerland, and United Kingdom:
30.02.12.1095.07 – Blood, serum, plasma or derivatives for in vitro use – ruminant – other than bovine.
30.02.12.1095.13 – Blood, serum, plasma or derivatives for in vitro use – fetal bovine serum.
30.02.12.1095.21 – Blood, serum plasma or derivatives for in vitro use – bovine.
