CFIA-AIRS Updates February 19th, 2018

A) Chapter 01 was published to modify the import conditions for the following HS codes with the end uses “Breeding”, “Other end uses”, Temporary stay in Canada”, “Feeding for slaughter” and Racing” originating from the United States. NO VERSION CHANGE.

01.06.39.2098 - Pigeons and doves over 3 days old. 
01.06.39.2099 - Pigeons and doves less than 3 days old.

B) Chapter 02 was published to change the release recommendation from “Refuse Entry” to “CBSA Inspection” for the following HS codes with the end use “Travellers & Personal use and not for resale or distribution” originating from the United States.

02.03.11.5051 - Wild boar, fresh or chilled.
02.03.21.6023 - Wild boar, frozen.

This created a requirement version change for the following HS codes.

02.03.12.5055 - Wild boar, fresh or chilled - bone in. 
02.03.19.5059 - Wild boar, fresh or chilled - boneless. 
02.03.22.5067 - Wild boar, frozen - bone in. 
02.03.29.5071 - Wild boar, frozen - boneless. 
02.10.19.5286 - Wild boar.
