A) Chapter 01 was published to change the release recommendation from “Refer to CFIA - Veterinary inspection” to “Refuse entry” for the following HS codes with the end use “Travellers & Personal use and not for resale or distribution” originating from Afghanistan, Bhutan, Cambodia, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Hong Kong, Peoples Democratic Republic Lao, Macao, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Taiwan and Thailand.
01.06.32 - Psittaciformes (including parrots, parakeets, macaws and cockatoos).
01.06.39.2096 - Songbirds over 3 days old (Passerines of the sub-order passerii (oscines)).
01.06.39.2097 - Songbirds less than 3 days old (Passerines of the sub-order passerii (oscines)).
This created a requirement version change for the same HS codes originating from all countries except the United States.
B) Chapter 05 was published to:
i) change the release recommendation from “Refer to CFIA - NISC” to “Refer to CFIA - Veterinary inspection” for the following HS code originating from the United States.
05.06.90.1274.04 - Cattle skulls - under thirty months.
ii) add the end uses “Other end uses” and “Scientific use (Research)” to the following HS code originating from all countries except Africa.

This created a requirement version change to the following HS codes.

i) modify the import conditions for the following HS code originating from the United States.

ii) modify the list of registration types for the following HS code originating from the United States.

iii) add the end use “Samples for testing” to the following HS code with miscellaneous code “ Other processes” originating from the United States.
