CFIA-AIRS Updates January 10th 2023

A) Chapter 01 was published to modify the import conditions for the following HS codes originating from Australia:

’01.06.41.2103 – Honeybees (Packaged)
01.06.41.2104 – Honeybee queens

B) Chapter 15 was published to:

i) remove a registration type for the following HS code with the end uses “In transit through Canada”, “Livestock feed” and “Other end uses” originating from the United States:

‘15.02.10.5404 – Beef tallow and derivatives, inedible – protein free

ii) remove a registration type for the following HS code with the end uses “In transit through Canada” and “Other end uses” originating from the United States:

‘15.02.10.5407 – Mutton tallow and derivatives, inedible – protein free

C) Chapter 23 was published to remove a registration type for the following HS code with the end use “Other end uses” originating from the United States:

‘23.09.90.6215 – Wild bird feed containing suet or other animal origin ingredients, in final retail packaging
