CFIA-AIRS Updates July 27th 2020

A) Chapter 07 was published to change the release recommendation from « Refuse entry » to “Refer to CFIA - NISC” for the following HS codes with the end uses “Further processing”, “Human consumption”, “Repacking”, “Samples for testing” and “Travellers & Personal use and not for resale or distribution” originating from Republic of Korea.

07.02.00.0002.01 - Tomatoes, greenhouse (fresh). (Solanum lycopersicum). (Lycopersicon esculentum)
07.02.00.0002.02 - Tomatoes - greenhouse (fresh). (Solanum lycopersicum) - Organic. (Lycopersicon esculentum)

This created a requirement version change for the following HS codes.

07.02.00.0001.01 - Tomatoes, field (fresh). (Solanum lycopersicum). (Lycopersicon esculentum)
07.02.00.0001.02 - Tomatoes - field (fresh). (Solanum lycopersicum) - Organic. (Lycopersicon esculentum)

B) Chapter 08 was published to add the end use “Travellers & Personal use and not for resale or distribution” to the following HS code.

08.02.62 - Macadamia nuts: Shelled.

C) Chapter 10 was published to add the end use “Bird Feed” to the following HS code.

10.08.29.0106.01 - Echinochloa sp.. 
10.08.29.0106.02 - Eleusine sp.. 
10.08.29.0106.03 - Panicum sp.. 
10.08.29.0106.05 - Setaria sp...
