CFIA APOLOGIZE FOR THE DELAY IN SENDING THIS MESSAGE AS THEY WERE EXPERIENCING TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES.

Chapter 06 was published to:

i) modify the import conditions for the following HS codes with the end use “Propagation (growing or sowing)” origination from the Continental United States.

06.02.10.0009 - Unrooted plants (include greenhouse grown) - fruits (edible) (nursery stock). 
06.02.10.0010 - Unrooted plants (include greenhouse grown) - nuts (edible) (nursery stock). 
06.02.10.0011 - Unrooted plants - trees, shrubs and bushes (without edible fruits or nuts) ( include greenhouse grown) (nursery stock). 
06.02.10.0021 - Unrooted plants - trees, shrubs and bushes (without edible fruits or nuts) (include greenhouse grown) (nursery stock) (further to 06.02.10.0011). 
06.02.10.0022 - Unrooted plants - trees, shrubs and bushes (without edible fruits or nuts) (include greenhouse grown) (nursery stock) (further to 06.02.10.0021). 
06.02.10.0023 - Unrooted plants - trees, shrubs and bushes (without edible fruits or nuts) (include greenhouse grown) (nursery stock) (further to 06.02.10.0022). 
06.02.10.0030 - Unrooted plants - trees, shrubs and bushes - fruits (edible) (include greenhouse grown) (nursery stock) (further to 06.02.10.0009). 
06.02.10.0031 - European dewberry - unrooted plants (Rubus caesius).

06.02.10.0115 - Star jasmine, confederate jasmine - Unrooted plants (Trachelospermum jasminoides).
06.02.20 - Trees, shrubs and bushes, grafted or not, of kinds which bear edible fruit or nuts.
06.02.30 - Rhododendrons and azaleas, grafted or not. (Azalea spp., Rhododendron spp.)
06.02.40 - Roses, grafted or not (Rosa spp.).
06.02.90.0023 - Other rooted propagative material - trees, shrubs and bushes (without edible fruit or nuts) - (include greenhouse grown)(nursery stock). 
06.02.90.0027 - Other rooted propagative material - trees, shrubs and bushes (without edible fruits or nuts) - (nursery stock) (include greenhouse grown) (further to 06.02.90.0023). 
06.02.90.0031 - Other rooted propagative material - trees, shrubs and bushes (without edible fruits or nuts) - (include greenhouse grown) (nursery stock) (further to 06.02.90.0027). 
06.02.90.0032 - Other rooted propagative material - trees, shrubs and bushes (without edible fruits or nuts) (include greenhouse grown) (nursery stock) (further to 06.02.90.0031).

ii) add the end uses “Samples for testing” and “Scientific use (Research)” to the following HS codes.

06.04.20.0045.01 - Corn - Stalks, leaves, cobs and sheaths - fresh (Zea mays). 
06.04.90.0046.02 - Corn - Stalks, leaves, cobs and sheaths - dried (Zea mays).
