CFIA-AIRS Updates May 20th, 2021

Chapter 01 was published to:

i) change the release recommendation from “Refuse Entry” to “Refer to CFIA - veterinary inspection” for the following HS code for the end uses “In special "training status"” and “Scientific use (Research)” originating from Ukraine.

01.06.19.2083.02 - Commercial dogs - less than eight months of age

ii) modify the import conditions for the following HS codes originating from Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Iceland, Jamaica, Netherlands Antilles, Norway, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Pierre and Miquelon, Saint Vincent and the grenadines, Sint Marteen (Dutch part), Turks and Caicos Island and Uruguay.

01.06.19.2083.01 - Commercial dogs - eight months of age or older
01.06.19.2083.02 - Commercial dogs - less than eight months of age
01.06.19.2083.03 - Personal dogs - accompanied
01.06.19.2083.04 - Personal dogs - unaccompanied  
01.06.19.2084 - Cats (Domestic)       

iii) modify the import conditions for the following HS code originating from Ukraine.

01.06.41.2104 - Honeybee queens.
