CFIA-AIRS Updates November 24th, 2022

Chapter 06 was published to:

i) change the release recommendation from “Refer to CFIA-NISC” to “Approved” for the following HS codes with the end use “Other end uses” originating from the States of California and Oregon.

06.04.20.0046.37 - Foliage, branches - fresh - Phlox spp.

06.04.20.0046.38 - Foliage, branches - fresh - Paeonia spp.

06.04.20.0046.39 - Foliage, branches - fresh - Cordyline spp.

ii) modify the import conditions for the following HS codes with end use “Propagation (growing or sowing)” originating from the continental United States.

06.02.90.0026.63 - Ash (Fraxinus spp.) - in vitro plants.

06.02.90.0026.97 - Jabuticaba (Plinia cauliflora) - in vitro plants.

06.02.90.0026.98 - Dianthus spp. - in vitro plants.  

06.02.90.0100.12 - Lily (Lilium spp. other than L. formosanum) - in vitro plants.

06.02.90.0100.14 - Phlox spp. - in vitro plants.

06.02.90.0100.15 - Paeonia spp. - in vitro plants.

06.02.90.0100.16 - Cordyline spp. - in vitro plants.

06.02.90.0100.17 - Colocasia spp. - in vitro plants.

06.02.90.0100.18 - Salpichroa spp. - in vitro plants.
