Chapter 23 was published to :
i) change the release recommendation from “Refuse entry” to “Refer to CFIA – NISC” for the following HS codes with the end use “Livestock feed” originating from France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Romania, Spain and United Kingdom.
23.01.10.1995.10 - Porcine meat meal, meat and bone meal.
23.01.10.1995.11 - Porcine blood meal.
23.01.10.1995.12 - Porcine dried, bulk, blood or plasma.
23.01.10.1995.16 - Poultry meal, including blood meal, spray dried poultry digest.
23.01.10.1995.20 - Porcine bone meal.
23.01.10.1995.21 - Swine pancreas extract dehydrated.
23.01.10.1995.28 - Poultry by-product meal rendered.
This created a requirement version change for the following HS codes originating from all countries except the United States.
23.01.10.1995 - Inedible rendered products, conventional cooker dehydrated, flash or ring dehydrated, animal meal steamed (bone, blood, other).
23.01.10.2000 - Animal meat products, cooked.
23.09.90.1260.01 - Feather and hog hair meal.
23.09.90.1260.02 - Hydrolysed chicken feathers and blood meal.
23.09.90.1260.03 - Poultry feathers meal hydrolysed.
23.09.90.6272 - Poultry and blood digest (liquid), including flavouring.
ii) change the release recommendation from “Refuse entry” to “Refer to CFIA – NISC” for the following HS code with the end use “Other end uses” originating from France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Romania, Spain and United Kingdom.
23.01.10.1995.28 - Poultry by-product meal rendered.
This created a requirement version change for the following HS codes originating from the EU member states.
23.01.10.1995 - Inedible rendered products, conventional cooker dehydrated, flash or ring dehydrated, animal meal steamed (bone, blood, other).
23.01.10.2000 - Animal meat products, cooked.
23.09.90.1260.01 - Feather and hog hair meal.
23.09.90.1260.02 - Hydrolysed chicken feathers and blood meal.
23.09.90.1260.03 - Poultry feathers meal hydrolysed.
