CFIA Delays

The CSCB has been advised by a member that CFIA has been taking an extraordinarily long time to advise that goods have been released. Given the sensitivity of goods regulated by the CFIA, this is certainly an issue that needs addressing.

Before approaching the CFIA, it would be helpful if we heard from others who might be experiencing the same delays. Examples, including the transaction number and the time it took for goods to be released from CFIA, can be sent to the attention of Michelle Criger at the CSCB.
