CFIA EDI-IID Processing Delays

Please be advised that the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is experiencing issues with processing of the Integrated Import Declaration (IID) Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) messages.

If you require a release for a shipment that has already arrived, or about to arrive at the border please fax documents to (613) 773-9999. The National Import Service Centre (NISC) will continue to process requests.
