CFIA Issues with Processing Import Declarations

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is currently experiencing technical difficulties and delays in processing import declarations.

At this time clients are instructed to send all CFIA electronic release requests to the Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).

Please fax documents for releases:

- from Ontario to the West coast, send to (905) 795-9658 and

- from Quebec to the East coast, please send to (514) 493-4103.
