CFIA Message: CBSA EDI Processing Delays

November 7, 2017

Please be advised that the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) is experiencing delays with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) related to Other Government Department Pre-Arrival Review System or Release on minimum documentation (OGD-PARS/RMD). Please note there may be a delay in processing import release requests. Clients using Integrated Import Declarations (IID) are not affected.

If you require a release for a shipment that has already arrived, or about to arrive at the border please fax documents to (613) 773-9999. The National Import Service Centre (NISC) will continue to process requests.
