CFIA Scheduled System Maintenance, 15 January

As part of ongoing efforts to improve client service, please be advised that the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) will be performing maintenance related to the implementation of the Safe Foods for Canadians Regulations (SFCR) on Monday January 14th, 2019 from 9:00pm until Tuesday January 15th, 2019 at 1:00am (EST).

Consequently, the following services will not be available:

Automated Import Reference System (AIRS)
Electronic Data Interchange - Other Government Department (OGD) Pre-Arrival Review System and/or the OGD Release on Minimum Documentation (EDI OGD PARS/RMD)
Electronic Data Interchange - Integrated Import Declaration (EDI -IID)

If you require clearance during this time, please fax documents to 613-773-9999.
