CFIA - Updates to PI-07 Manual

Please be advised that the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has updated PI-07 Technical Heat Treatment Guidelines and Operating Conditions Manual. Revisions have been made to include 2 new generic heat treatment schedules: Option D-1 (similar to Option D but with fan reversal) and Option J for treatment of hardwoods at 60 degrees Celsius for 60 minutes. Clarifications have also been added to the wording for some schedules as well as in the descriptions of the figures in the appendices.

Mise à jour du manuel PI-07

Veuillez prendre note que l’Agence canadienne d’inspection des aliments (ACIA) a mis à jour PI-07 Manuel des conditions d'opération et des lignes directrices sur le traitement à la chaleur. La mise à jour comprend 2 nouveaux programmes de traitement thermique génériques : l’option D-1 (similaire à l’option D mais avec inversion du ventilateur) et l’option J pour le traitement de bois durs à 60 degrés Celsius pendant 60 minutes. Des précisions ont également été apportées au libellé de certains programmes génériques de traitement ainsi que dans les descriptions des figures en annexes.
