CFIA Validating of Safe Food for Canadians Licences

January 20, 2021

CFIA is working toward a date to begin validating Safe Food for Canadians licences on import declarations with the intent of issuing rejections on declarations that do not have a valid licence number. Prior to implementation, CFIA has developed a number of communications products to raise awareness with importers and brokers.

The first of these communications has been shared with the CSCB.
